Knee replacement, also called as knee arthroplasty is a surgical technique to replace the damaged surfaces of the knee joint to relieve any pain or disability.  It is commonly performed for osteoarthritis patients and also for other knee diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.

And the last one is complex (or revision) knee replacement surgery. This knee replacement technique may be needed if the patient has severe arthritis or if the patient has already performed more than one knee replacement surgery.

What are the risks involving knee replacement surgery?
